You know what we think is fun? Making an appetizer before dinner. You know? Like how often do we actually prepare something for our families to enjoy before dinner is served!? At parties and formal dinners it’s common, so we think we should make it a commonality at home, too!
Today we’re sharing an Avenue 126 original that we think you will love! It’s a spin off of your classic bruschetta, this time using goat cheese, fresh thyme, fresh peaches, and a honey drizzle. We think it’s the perfect pre-dinner bite! Plus — they are just gorgeous to look at…and everybody loves pretty food!
Here’s what you need:
- French baguette
- Fresh peach, chopped
- Fresh thyme
- Goat cheese
Here’s how you do it:
Cut your baguette into small 1/2″ slices. Add goat cheese crumbles and chopped peaches to each slice. Sprinkle fresh thyme over top and drizzle with honey. Place on a platter and serve! It’s that simple! Whether you are enjoying a Wednesday night dinner in our entertaining on a Saturday night this is the perfect little app!
