DIY Host/Hostess Appreciation Gift

Hospitality is something that we not only value, but also something we are big believers in. Welcoming someone into your home takes effort, money, and time but it’s such a simple way to bless someone and let them know that they are cared for. Whether for an evening or an entire week, we believe in opening up your door and saying “you are welcome here, you are valued, and you are worth my time.” For the both of us, we really do love to be hospitable and definitely feel like the Lord has blessed us with the ability to make people feel welcome and wanted in our homes.

Avenue 126 Hospitality Gift

As we are of town for a long weekend, we thought it would be fun to show you the  little gift we put together for the family that we are staying with and we wanted to share just how simple it can be to bless your host/hostess with a little something that says “hey, we recognize the sacrifices you are making to let us stay here and we want you to know that we’re thankful.” This is a great way to be a graceful and grateful guest in a home you are staying in!

There’s no right or wrong way to do this. Basically, we just gathered a bunch of small things that we thought they might enjoy, put them all together and made it look pretty. A simple little gift to say “thanks!” Included in our is: a galvanized tub, a frame with a hand-lettered monogram {hand lettered by Melissa}, wood colored pencils, his+hers mugs, assorted teas, a drink mix, and bath bombs. And voila!
