You all know that we are fans of choco-dipped anything around here, i.e. Choco Dipped Pretzels, Choco Dipped Nillas, Choco Dipped Banana Chips, and Choco Dipped Bananas! If you haven’t made any of those recipes be sure to check them out ASAP.
SO today we’re coming at you with a simple choco-dipped mid day snack! This has a bit of protein from the almond butter and is a healthy alternative to other afternoon pick me ups. We are packing these in our lunches for work days too!
So here is what you’ll need:
-Almond butter (We used the chai spiced Revival Almond butter that we got at Influence Conference this year — she’s a local almond butter maker from Indianapolis! Check her out! )
-Chocolate for dipping
Here’s how you do it:
Slice the bananas into medium size slices, spread almond butter on the banana slice, and place another banana on top to make a little sandwich. Freeze 30 minutes. Melt your chocolate and dip the whole bite into chocolate or just dip half of it. Return to freezer for another 10-15 minutes. Store in the freezer or fridge for up to a week in an airtight container!
And there you have it! Happy snacking!
